In the PE granulation process, temperature control in each area is crucial to the granulation effect. The following are recommended temperature settings for each zone:
Drying area: The temperature should be controlled between 90℃ and 120℃. Temperature adjustment can be achieved by adjusting air flow and hot air flow. If you need to lower the temperature, you can increase the air flow and reduce the hot air flow; otherwise, you need to reduce the air flow and increase the hot air flow.
Prepressing zone: The temperature is generally controlled between 40°C and 60°C. Temperature adjustment can be achieved by increasing or decreasing the number and voltage of heating tubes. Increasing the number and voltage of heating tubes can increase the temperature, and decreasing them can lower the temperature.
Pressure area: As the highest temperature area in the granulator, the temperature should be controlled between 150℃ and 180℃. Temperature adjustment can also be achieved by adjusting the number and voltage of heating tubes. Increasing the heating tube and voltage can increase the temperature, decreasing it can lower the temperature.
Cooling zone: The temperature directly affects the quality and speed of granulation, and is generally controlled between 30°C and 40°C. Temperature adjustment can be achieved by adjusting the air volume. Increasing the air volume can lower the temperature, decreasing it can increase the temperature.
Preheating temperature: For different materials, the preheating temperature is generally around 80°C. The specific temperature can be set according to the required preheating time and temperature of different materials.
Feeding temperature: After preheating, the feeding temperature should be higher than the preheating temperature, generally around 110°C. The specific temperature can be adjusted according to actual conditions.
Cooling temperature: During the cooling process, the temperature is generally controlled at around 30°C. The specific temperature can be set according to the needs of different finished products.
It should be noted that the temperature setting should be from bottom to high, with the feeding port handling low. If it is recycled granulation, the temperature should be higher. If it is modified granulation, the temperature needs to be determined according to the actual situation. Before starting the machine, you can set the temperature slightly higher, and then slowly lower it after normal discharging.
